The Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture, 866-366-3723, uses a risk-based inspection reporting process for restaurants and other food handlers.

Dunkin Donuts, 81 Londonderry Square, Palmyra, March 8. Pass. Food employees observed in the food preparation area, not wearing proper hair restraints, such as nets, hats, or beard covers.

Roma Pizza, 19 S. Railroad St. Palmyra, March 8. Pass. Observed containers of food stored directly on the floor in the walk-in cooler, rather than 6 inches off of the floor as required.

Down on the Farm Catering at Lebanon Valley Expo Center, 80 Rocherty Rd. Lebanon, March 7. Pass. No violations.

Miner’s Pub, 201 Iron Valley Rd. Cornwall, March 7. Pass. No violations.

Snitz Creek Brewery, 1805 N. State Route 934, Annville, March 7. Pass. Observed wet wiping cloths in the food preparation area, not being stored in sanitizer solution. Can opener blade, a food contact surface, was observed to have old food residue and was not clean to sight and touch. Non-food contact surfaces (hood filters and grill area) not cleaned at a frequency to preclude accumulation grease.

Bruno’s of Lebanon, 992 Isabel Dr. Lebanon, March 6. Pass. Thermometers for ensuring proper temperatures of food are not available or readily accessible.

Hearty Slice Pizza & Grill, 115 Springwood Dr. Suite 400, Lebanon, March 6. Pass. Scoop being stored in the ice storage container with handle touching the ice. Observed wet wiping cloths in the food preparation area, not being stored in sanitizer solution.

Hebron Catering & Events, 701 E. Walnut St. Lebanon, March 6. Pass. Can opener blade, a food contact surface, was observed to have old food residue and was not clean to sight and touch.

Speedway #06732, 2190 W. Cumberland St. Lebanon, March 6. Pass. Non-food contact surface (floor) in the food preparation area is not cleaned at a frequency to preclude accumulation of dirt and soil.

McDonald’s #19989, 295 W. Lincoln Ave. Myerstown, Complaint, March 5. Pass. No violations.
