Witness the New Changes at Nonnatus House on WITF TV

Season 13 opens with a new pupil midwife training program. The midwives, with supervision from Dr. Turner, are tasked with delivering a baby whose mother has cerebral palsy. While Nonnatus House delves into new experiences, the “Raise the Roof Campaign” for better pay and work conditions cause a divide of opinion between the nurses.

Watch Call the Midwife Sunday, March 17 at 8pm on WITF TV or the PBS or WITF App. Livestream it for free or stream it on demand with WITF Passport.

A patient, Doreen, with cerebral palsy is examined by Dr. Turner and she voices her concern for her baby during the delivery due to a lack of oxygen at her own birth resulting in her condition. After sitting in on the examination and conversation, Sister Julienne and Miss Higgins discuss Doreen’s condition and ways to alleviate her concerns. The spring season also welcomes four new pupil midwives, Joyce, Kathy, Norelle, and Rosalind, to Nonnatus House.
