Laugh-Out-Loud with Jam and Jerusalem on PASSPORT

Peak into the ins and outs of village life with an affectionate and empathetic look at the togetherness of a community where everyone knows everyone and their business.

The show focuses on Sal, the voice of common sense and knowledge who nurses the townspeople back to health. Although she is involved in her community, she is reluctant to join the local church’s Women’s Guild because she fears their obsession with knitting and baking cakes. After her husband dies, she welcomes her community’s embrace, especially when her son announces that he will be taking over his father’s medical practice and his wife will replace Sal as the town’s nurse. When the town’s sympathy and tea dries up, Sal decides to change her hair and clothes and join the Women’s Guild.
