WITF’s genealogy resource fair begins at 1:00pm. Local genealogy experts and organizations will join us to share tips on building your family tree and the resources they can offer to help you in your research.

Organizations in attendance include:

As the resource fair wraps up at 2:15pm, the theater doors will open for our preview screening of Viewers Like You.

WITF’s Scott LaMar will moderate a panel discussion with Denys Allen, Founder of PA Ancestors, other local genealogy experts, and Cumberland County resident Megan Robertson, who is featured in the Finding Your Roots season 10 finale episode.

The panelists will discuss and take questions about starting the process of researching your own family history, and Megan will share what it was like to be on the show and discover new family “roots.”

Our current capacity for the screening and panel discussion is 200 people. Capacity for the Genealogy Fair is not as limited. If you miss out on Fair + Screening tickets, you can still attend the Fair only.

If tickets for the screening and panel discussion open up that day, you will have the opportunity to pick up a non-accounted for ticket at the registration table at the 2:30pm start time.
