The popular British drama series Doc Martin is back on WITF TV for season 8, starring Martin Clunes (Men Behaving Badly) as cantankerous village practitioner Dr. Martin Ellingham beginning July 1.
Doc Martin season 8 arrives on WITF TV Thursday, July 1 at 8pm. Livestream it for free using the PBS or WITF App, or stream it on demand starting July 1 with WITF Passport.
Doc Martin season 8 resumes in Portwenn with Martin and his wife, Louisa (Caroline Catz, DCI Banks), finally living together again with their son James Henry. However, their problems are far from over and Louisa finds herself juggling too many responsibilities at once. And as Portwenn prepares for a wedding, Bert hopes to profit from the festivities.
Guest stars include Kevin Doyle (Molesley in Downton Abbey) as Morwenna’s father, and Academy Award-nominee Sigourney Weaver (Alien, Ghostbusters and Avatar) as an American tourist in need of medical assistance while traveling in Portwenn.
