This summer, we’re returning to the Yorkshire Dales to reacquaint ourselves with our favorite Skeldale House residents. Romance is in the air – and not just for James and Helen – but war looms on the horizon.
It all starts happily enough. James and Helen do everything they can to stay busy before their wedding. A stag night gets a little wild – in Dales’ terms – and James wakes up in a barn. He’s agreed to take on a large vetting job on the same day of his wedding, throwing Tristan into a tizzy.
Soon enough, the residents of Skeldale House must find their new normal. James and Helen have moved in, and there might even be a touch of romance in store for Tristan – and Mrs. Hall! Siegfried is forced to face some of his demons from the First World War, Tristan must prove himself as a new vet, and Mrs. Hall gets a chance to mend her relationship with her dear son, Edward.
