Between 2010 and 2020, rural counties in Pennsylvania lost 85,000 residents and it’s simple math – more deaths than births.

The Center for Rural Pennsylvania has conducted a population analysis and found more people are moving to rural Pennsylvania than moving out and most are coming from out-of-state.
