Ready, Set, Explore Urban Gardening

Gardening activates all of our senses! Join WITF’s education team at The Bridge to smell the unique aroma of tomato plants and taste a mint leaf, feel the texture of soil and test its PH levels, explore the lifecycle of plants, listen for the bees that pollinate plants and meet the adventurous Nature Cat!

Save Your Spot!

Families will learn about aquaponics, explore conservation and environmental science through hands-on learning stations, meet successful gardening entrepreneurs, and find out how to nurture a garden at home.

Each family will leave with their very own aquaponics gardening kit and each child will leave with a book.

Ready, Set, Explore Urban Gardening is presented in partnership with the Planet Bee Foundation.

This event takes place outdoors and is rain or shine. Free parking is available at adjacent upper and lower lots with a short walk (includes some steps) to driveway entrance. There will be a handicap drop-off area at the event.
