It’s 1936, and six years have passed since parlormaid Rose left 165 Eaton Place. But fate brings her back as housekeeper after its new owners, Sir Hallam Holland and his wife Lady Agnes, set about restoring the house to its full glory.

Rose has her work cut out for her as she recruits a new ‘downstairs’ family to help run the elegance and finery of the ‘upstairs’ world. But both worlds, it turns out, hold a labyrinth of secrets, lies, and scandal.

Upstairs, Downstairs stars Keeley Hawes (High-Rise, The Bank Job, Death at a Funeral) at Lady Agnes Holland, Ed Stoppard (The Pianist, Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, Knightfall) as Sir Hallam Holland, Neil Jackson (Stargirl, The King’s Man, Absentia) as Harry Spargo, Art Malik (The Living Daylights, True Lies, A Passage to India) as Mr. Amanjit Singh, Claire Foy (The Crown, Little Dorrit, Wolf Hall, Season of the Witch) as Lady Persephone Towyn, and many others.
