The new crime thriller D.I. Ray is available to stream now on WITF Passport! The four-part series set in Birmingham, England introduces viewers to D.I. Rachita Ray as she takes on a case that forces her to confront her personal struggle between her British identity and her Asian heritage.
In episode one, Ray is promoted to Homicide, but quickly realizes that she’s a “token hire” and the “culturally specific” honor killing of a young Muslim man is anything but. As she unravels the mystery, she and her team realize they may be dealing with dangerous, organized criminals.
