Call the Midwife’s 12th season premieres on WITF TV on March 19 at 8pm, but WITF Passport members can stream the new season 30 days early!
We return to Nonnatus House in 1968, and a new nun named Sister Veronica joins the team. The Sister is a hit with everyone – except Nurse Crane.
The season sees some big changes coming to medical care in Poplar. Dr. Turner begins a campaign to convince men to use contraception and Sister Veronica spearheads a new initiative to monitor the health of working children. Tensions rise in Poplar following Enoch Powell’s Rivers of Blood speech, too.
