First Contact blends cutting-edge scientific facts with fictional podcasts, media feeds, and international news programs. This 21st-century War of the Worlds-style docudrama tells the story of humanity’s encounter with an alien object traveling through the solar system over the course of 12 days and imagines how the world might respond.
