We’re reliving Season 2 of All Creatures Great and Small on Sundays this month to catch up and refresh our memories ahead of the Season 3 premiere on Sunday, January 8 at 9pm.

Season 1 ended with Helen Alderson calling off her wedding after developing a close friendship with James over the course of the first season. After working hard to become accepted by the local farmers and prove himself to Siegfried, James is made senior vet. Siegfried chooses to keep a secret and Mrs. Hall’s heart breaks after her son fails to show up for the Christmas party.

Watch back-to-back episodes of All Creatures Great and Small on WITF TV or the PBS Video app live stream Sunday, December 11 starting at 9pm. WITF Passport members can stream seasons 1 and 2 anytime using their login and the PBS Video app. Become a WITF Passport member at witf.org/passport!

Season 2 of All Creatures Great and Small takes us back to the Yorkshire Dales as James finds his place in the Yorkshire Dales. We see him taking a more prominent role in the veterinary practice at Skeldale House and working out if there’s someone worth staying for in the Dales – or if he should return to the big city of Glasgow and help his parents after they sacrificed so much for him.

The quirky humor, lovable characters (and love triangles) and heartwarming stories of both seasons keep us coming back for more.

On Sunday, December 11 at 9pm, WITF TV will encore We Can But Hope – where we’ll see medical advice clash with farming wisdom, leading to James and Helen’s first fight. Plus, Tricki Woo is back for more shenanigans with Tristan. (They make quite the pair.)

Then, at 10:16pm, we’ll re-watch Many Happy Returns. Tristan works out how to make clients happy, and plans a dinner party for his birthday, but then gets bad news – and Helen and James have a heart-to-heart.
