Ken Burns and Lynn Novick, co-directors of THE TENTH INNING.

The Tenth Inning explores baseball’s more recent history. Burns and co-director Lynn Novick begin with the crippling strike that alienated millions of fans, celebrate baseball’s new Golden Age and shed light on one of the game’s darkest chapters – the steroid era. The two-part film features the stories of Joe Torre, Mark McGwire, Sammy Sosa, Pedro Martinez, Ichiro Suzuki, Cal Ripken Jr. and Barry Bond, and insightful commentary from an eclectic lineup of writers, broadcasters, fans and all-stars.

Watch Baseball and The Tenth Inning for free on video.witf.org and the PBS Video app through April 30. The films will continue to be available to WITF Passport members after April 30. Learn more about becoming a WITF Passport member at witf.org/passport.
