Call The Midwife returns with season 10

  Fred Vigeant is WITF's Director of Programming and Promotions for TV and Radio. Fred manages the schedules for our radio and television platforms. He also analyzes audience research and manages the public affairs program Smart Talk. Previously, Fred was at WRVO in Oswego, NY for 12 years serving in various roles including Program Director and before that Operations Manager. Fred graduated from the State University of New York College at Oswego with a B.A. in Mass Communications and Broadcasting.

It’s 1966, and it’s a testing time for the midwives.

But there’s excitement, too, as the women’s rights movement intensifies. With Trixie’s help, Sister Julienne is determined to steer Nonnatus House out of its financial quandary.

Dr Turner deals with an array of difficult cases including a former soldier involved in nuclear test explosions.

Sister Monica Joan experiences a crisis of faith. Sister Frances realizes she needs to be a little less spiritual if she’s to really connect with the local women.

Watch the 10th season of Call The Midwife on WITF Sundays at 8pm beginning October 3. Episodes will be available for on-demand viewing through the PBS Video app for a very limited time following each week’s broadcast.
