(Harrisburg)  —  The National Weather Service in State College has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for south central Pennsylvania from 1am to 1pm on Sunday.

Forecasters say a fast moving coastal storm is expected to clip the area with snow beginning overnight tonight and continuing through about lunchtime Sunday.

Total snow accumulation is expected to be 3 to 5 inches.

Forecasters say most of the snow and the higher amounts will be south and east of I-81.

The state Department of Transportation and the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission remind motorist to adjust speeds based on driving conditions.

PennDOT says motorists should visit www.511pa.com for the latest roadway conditions.
