(Harrisburg) — Due to the winter storm PennDOT has temporarily reduced speed limits and implemented travel restrictions on roadways in the midstate.
Those who must head out will see speeds reduced to 45mph on Interstates 81, 83, 78 and 283.
Other highways affected include routes 15, 22, 30, 222, 322 and 581.
Commercial vehicles have been ordered to use right lanes only.
Also, PennDOT has put travel restrictions in place for trucks and other vehicles on certain roadways in the midstate.
That includes tractors without trailers, those with empty or lightly loaded trailers, passenger vehicles towing trailers, motor homes and buses.
Those vehicles are not permitted on Interstates 81, 83 and 78 until conditions improve.
