  Fred Vigeant is WITF's Director of Programming and Promotions for TV and Radio. Fred manages the schedules for our radio and television platforms. He also analyzes audience research and manages the public affairs program Smart Talk. Previously, Fred was at WRVO in Oswego, NY for 12 years serving in various roles including Program Director and before that Operations Manager. Fred graduated from the State University of New York College at Oswego with a B.A. in Mass Communications and Broadcasting.

WITF has exciting news to share. You can now stream WITF TV for free.

The WITF TV Stream is initially available on our website, PBS’ website, and through the PBS Video app on the Roku platform.

The WITF TV Stream is an exciting addition to the variety of ways you can access our broadcast television schedule.  WITF TV is available over the air (33.1 & 33.2), on cable operators throughout the region (Comcast, Blue Ridge, Kuhn. Armstrong, Service Electric and others), Verizon FIOS, Dish and DirecTV and YouTubeTV.

The livestream will be available on additional platforms this fall including Amazon Fire, AppleTV, Samsung SmartTVs and the PBS Video Mobile app.
