(Carlisle) — A central Pennsylvania man has been charged in the murders of two women with whom he had been romantically involved, one of whom was pregnant, authorities said.
Davone Unique Anderson, 25, is charged in Cumberland County with two counts of first-degree murder and one count of first-degree murder of an unborn child along with child endangerment and weapons counts, prosecutors said Monday.
Authorities allege that Anderson killed 23-year-old Sydney Parmelee in Carlisle on July 5 because he believed she was cheating on him. They allege he then killed 23-year-old Kaylee Lyons, who was six weeks pregnant, at the same home on July 30 because he feared she would tell police about the earlier slaying.
Prosecutors said the defendant had been involved with both women and had fathered children with both of them.
Anderson was taken to the county jail without bail; court documents don’t list a defense attorney and a listed number for the defendant couldn’t be found Monday.
