Mister Rogers used the code “1-4-3” to tell viewers that he loved them. This Friday May 22 is 143 Day in PA–a special day to embrace the spirit of the kindest Pennsylvanian, Fred Rogers!
Join WITF and the PA Department of Community & Economic Development as we celebrate with a virtual screening of the documentary, Mister Rogers: It’s You I Like on Thursday, May 21 at 7pm.
The film pays tribute to Fred Rogers and the nearly 900 episodes of the PBS children’s program. Hosted by award-winning actor Michael Keaton, enjoy memorable segments, archival performances, and lots more!
After the film Debbie Riek, WITF’s Director of Education, will moderate a discussion with:
- Ellen Doherty, Chief Creative Officer, Fred Rogers Productions
- Margy Whitmer, Consultant to Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood and Former Producer, Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood
