(Harrisburg) — The Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board says starting next Monday it will be adding 389 more stores across the state to it’s curbside pick-up program.
Since the program was introduced at 176 wine and liquor stores this past Monday, the PLCB says it has processed more than 38-thousand orders totaling 3.6-million dollars.
PLCB officials say most stores are supporting curbside pick-up Monday through Saturday,.. taking a limited number of orders on a first-come, first-serve basis beginning at 9am each day.
Orders are limited to up to six bottles per order and only credit cards are accepted for payment.
The PLCB added curbside pick-up after it’s online ordering system, introduced earlier this month, proved unable to come close to handling demand.
The PLCB says due to social distancing guidelines, there are no plans to reopen stores to the public at this time.
