(Harrisburg) — U.S. Rep. Scott Perry (R-10) announced a telephone town hall to discuss coronavirus and how local communities can work together to combat the pandemic, according to a statement released Tuesday evening.

The town hall announcement came as Pennsylvania residents are trying to find answers for closures and restrictions that continue to change the look of daily life.

“We all have a critical role to play in stopping the spread of COVID-19,” Perry said in a statement. “Our federal, state, and local officials are working hard to provide resources and issue guidance that will protect the health and safety of our communities.”

The telephone town hall will be Wednesday at 1:45 p.m., and Perry will be joined by medical experts from WellSpan Health and Country Meadows Retirement Communities. They will be discussing how communities are working together to protect at-risk populations.
