Homicide charge dropped against one in York slaying

  • The Associated Press

(YORK)–Prosecutors have dropped criminal homicide and conspiracy charges against one of
two men arrested in a shooting death inside a Pennsylvania movie theater last
month.
A spokesman for the York County district attorney’s office says
19-year-old Jalen Bellaflores remains charged with hindering apprehension,
obstruction of justice and evidence-tampering. Prosecutors said at a bail
hearing Friday that the police investigation didn’t support the homicide charge.

Twenty-one-year-old Anu-Malik Johnson remains charged with homicide along with
aggravated assault and a weapons count in the Dec. 2 shooting of 22-year-old
Andre White Jr. at Regal Cinemas 13 in West Manchester Township.
