Live coverage of the second week of the House of Representatives’ public impeachment hearings

PBS NewsHour & NPR News will present live coverage of the first week of the House of Representatives’ public impeachment hearings on Tuesday, November 19 through Thursday, November 21.

NPR News will host an evening recap program on each day of hearings at 8pm.

PBS NewsHour will also provide a video stream of their coverage on our website and on YouTube.

Tuesday coverage

First panel begins at 9am with testimony from Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman, the top Ukraine specialist on the National Security Council, and Jennifer Williams, a foreign service aide detailed to Vice President Pence’s office.

Second panel begins at 2:30pm with testimony from Kurt Volker, the former special envoy to Ukraine, and Tim Morrison, a former National Security Council aide.

Wednesday coverage

First panel begins at 9am with testimony from Gordon Sondland, who was once a top donor to the president’s inaugural committee.

Second panel begins at 2:30pm with testimony from Laura Cooper, a deputy assistant secretary at the Defense Department, and David Hale, the undersecretary of state for political affairs at the State Department.

Thursday coverage

The hearing begins at 9am with testimony from Fiona Hill, formerly the top Russia specialist on the National Security Council, and David Holmes, a State Department aide who overheard a phone conversation between Sondland and the president on July 26.
