Since publishing our story on reports of ineffective heating at the Dauphin County Prison, we’ve heard feedback from readers who said that they, too, experienced similar cold conditions at the prison in the past.

Current inmates have also contacted us to report there is no heat coming from the vents in their cells, and that their requests to staff to raise the temperature have not been met.

We want to know more about what it’s like in jails and prisons across the state. So, we’re asking for people to submit their stories to us. We want you — or your loved ones — to let us know about living conditions in jails and prisons in Pennsylvania.

Tell us a lot, tell us a little. We want to hear from you.

Fill out the form below, or you can contact our reporter, Joseph Darius Jaafari, at: jjaafari@papost.org or 717-910-2631. You can also reach him through direct message on Twitter at @JosephJaafari.
