(East Pennsboro) — Authorities say a house fire in a Cumberland County community spread to two other homes, displacing a dozen people but causing no injuries.
The fire in East Pennsboro was reported around 2:50 a.m. Tuesday.
Firefighters soon arrived, but the blaze quickly spread to two other homes before the flames were brought under control.
Authorities say 12 people overall — eight adults and four children — and several pets were able to escape the homes unharmed.
The cause remains under investigation.
