(University Park) — No. 7 Penn State faces a bruising game with No. 16 Michigan in tonight’s White Out game at Beaver Stadium.
Both teams feature stingy defenses.
The Nittany Lions rank second in scoring defense, not allowing more than 13 points in any one game this season. They rank fourth in total defense led by a rushing defense allowing an average of just 54 yards per game. They also have 27 sacks.
Michigan ranks in the top 15 nationally in both scoring and total defense,.. however they got lit up for 35 points by No. 6 Wisconsin a month ago.
Penn State is one of 12 remaining undefeated teams in the FBS at 6-0. Michigan is 5-1 and still harboring hopes of making the Big Ten title game later this year.
Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30pm.
