(University Park) — The 12th ranked Penn State Nittany Lions return to the friendly confines of Beaver Stadium for the program’s 100th Homecoming Game.

They’ll host the Purdue Boilermakers today starting at noon.

Lions quarterback Sean Clifford is coming off his best game of the season last week in Penn State’s 59-0 drubbing of Maryland.  Clifford threw for 398-yards and three touchdowns.  He also ran for another.

Penn State is averaging 316 yards passing in the Big Ten,.. second only to Purdue’s 351.

Unfortunately for the Boilermakers, their star quarterback Elijah Sindelar will miss today’s game with an injury.

In addition, Purdue will also be without the number one receiver in the Big Ten, Rondale Moore, also out with an injury.

The Lions come into today’s game a perfect 4-0.  Purdue is at 1-3.
