(State College) — The National Weather Service has confirmed that a recent storm system spawned two tornados in central Pennsylvania.

The twisters were classified EF1 which pack wind speeds of between 86 and 110 miles per hour.

The National Weather Service in State College says that’s what touched down last Friday night near Krause in southern Juniata County.

Forecasters say the tornado was about 75-yards wide and was on the ground for about a mile.

It touched down near the intersection of Black Log Road and Old Barn Lane.

Numerous trees were damaged along with the roof of a home and a barn.

The National Weather service says another tornado touched down Friday night near Richvale in southern Huntingdon County.
