(State College) — The National Weather Service in State College has issued a high wind watch for the mid-state.

Winds from the west on Sunday afternoon will consistantly be between 20 and 30 miles per hour.

The real problems start late Sunday afternoon and last through Monday morning when forecasters say dangerous wind gusts could reach between 50 and 60 miles per hour.

The National Weather Service says winds that strong are capable of causing property damage, toppling trees and causing power outages.
