ATV riders attack Pennsylvania Game Commission deputy

(Saint Clair, Pa) — Two men riding ATVs attacked a Pennsylvania Game Commission deputy on Saturday in Norwegian Township, Schuylkill County, according to a game commission news release.
“We are saddened and distressed by the assault of a deputy state game warden serving in Schuylkill County,” the news release states.
The deputy encountered the two men about 10 a.m. on the Grande Hunter Access Property along Peach Mountain Road near Saint Clair. The lands are closed to motor vehicle use, the news release states.
When the deputy stopped the ATVs, the men attacked him and fled the scene in the direction of Arnots Addition on the ATVs. One ATV was orange and black and both were racing-type machines with loud exhausts.
The suspects are middle-aged, approximately mid-50s, medium builds, standing about 5 feet, 10 inches tall. Both have gray hair and facial hair. One suspect has a long goatee gathered in a ponytail with rubber bands, according to the news release.
