Wind and cold awaits fans for Penn State-Wisconsin

(University Park, PA) — It’s a rematch of the 2016 Big 10 Championship game when Penn State hosts Wisconsin today at Beaver Stadium.
The Nittany Lions and Badgers are meeting for the first time since Penn State rallied from a 21-point deficit to win the Big 10 Championship and advance to the Rose Bowl.
Penn State is looking to bounce back from the pounding they took last week in Michigan.
To do so, Head Coach James Franklin says they’ll have to at least slow down the nations number one rushing attack, led by running back Jonathan Taylor.
“It starts with their offense and what they are able to do up front with their offensive line and their running back. They are a multiple formation (offense) based around the tight ends and personnel groups,.. 75% runs on normal downs. They are going to try and establish the run. That’s who they are,” Franklin said.
Kickoff is scheduled for noon.
The weather for the State College area is forecast to be windy and cold.
Adding to the headaches for fans is that due to heavy rains in the area this week, most grass parking areas around the stadium will be unavailable.
