(Ann Arbor, Michigan) — Penn State is on the road in Michigan this week for a huge Big Ten game against the 5th ranked Wolverines.

The last two meetings between the schools certainly haven’t been nailbiters.

Michigan pounded the Lions in 2016 and Penn State won last years contest by four touchdowns.

Penn State Head Coach James Franklin said this Michigan team has come a long way since 2017.

“They’re a veteran team.  21 of 29 starters returning this season.  Obviously they opened the season with a loss to Notre Dame and since then have played really well,” he said.

Michigan has won seven straight since that opening game loss.

Penn State may find the going pretty tough offensively as they get ready to face the nations number one defense.

The Lions are averaging 460 yards of offense per game while the Wolverines are giving up a stingy 220 per contest.

Kickoff is scheduled for 3:45pm.
