Carson Long Military Academy listed for sale

(Harrisburg) — An historic military academy in the midstate is up for sale.
The Carson Long Military Academy in Perry County has been listed at $3.9 million by Wolfe & Company Realtors in Carlisle.
The campus includes 11 academic buildings on 55 acres in New Bloomfield.
Carson Long was the oldest private boarding school in the country to provide military leadership training. It opened as Bloomfield Academy in 1836.
The institution announced earlier this summer it would be closing, due to financial pressures.
Under an agreement, students will be able to continue their education at Valley Forge Military Academy and College in Delaware County.
