(York) — The Central York School District has decided to keep schools closed again today.

According to the district’s website, the closure comes on a recommendation from police based on text and social media threats made against the Middle and Elementary schools earlier this week.

Meanwhile, the story is the same in the Harrisburg School District.

The district’s website says schools are closed today due to social media threats.

District officials say the threats came in Thursday night and their decision to close schools was based on the concern for student and staff safety.
