ACA enrollment period ends in two weeks

(Harrisburg) — There are only two weeks left in the open enrollment period under the Affordable Care Act and some state lawmakers are doing what they can to get the word out.
Members of the Senate Democratic caucus have embarked on an “ACA Enrollment Tour” across the state to get eligible Pennsylvanians signed up before the December 15th deadline.
Lawmakers are accusing the Trump Administration of placing several roadblocks between people and coverage.
Lawmakers on the tour include Senator Christine Tartaglinone.
“Trump chopped the affordable care enrollment period in half, from three months to just six weeks. He also sliced federal funding to advertise the enrollment period for 90-percent, while cutting funding for enrollment advocates almost in half,” she said.
Stops on the tour have included Philadelphia, Pittsburgh and the Lehigh Valley.
