(State College) — The National Weather Service has issued a Wind Advisory for much of central and eastern Pennsylvania from late tonight through Monday morning.

Winds out of the northwest are forecast from 20 to 35 mph with gusts as high as 45 to 50 mph at times.

Officials with the National Weather Service say winds of this magnitude could cause damage to trees, power lines and weaker structures.

The rain and high winds eventually move out of our area later Monday.

Forecasters say Halloween will be sunny with a high in the mid to upper 50’s.
