(New Cumberland, Cumberland County) — It’s the final hours of campaigning ahead of Election Day tomorrow, and one incumbent is trying to hold on to his seat.

Republican Pat Toomey stopped in the midstate earlier today to rally voters.

Toomey is in a tight race with Democrat Katie McGinty.

The result could help tip the balance of the U.S. Senate.

It’s the most expensive Senate race in the country, with more than $100 million spent.

Speaking to a crowd at a hotel ballroom in Cumberland County, Toomey implored supporters to talk to their friends and neighbors and get them to the polls.

“The race is tied. The race between me and Katie McGinty is a tied race right now. And when you have a tied race, especially in a big state like ours, the winner in the end is the side that wants it the most,” says Toomey.

“We’ve got less than 36 hours before the polls close and we will have determined the next Senator and probably which party controls the United States Senate.”

Toomey did not take questions from reporters at the event.

He has not publicly said whether he will vote for his party’s presidential nominee, Donald Trump.

Meanwhile, Democrat Katie McGinty has said she’s voting for Hillary Clinton.

She’s campaigning in Pittsburgh and Philadelphia today.

Toomey has emphasized security and jobs, while McGinty has pledged to support issues important to the middle class.
