(State College) — The 20th ranked Penn State Nittany Lions carry a four game winning streak and a whole lot of momentum into tonight’s game against the Iowa Hawkeyes at Beaver Stadium.

The Lions high-octane offense, led by quarterback Trace McSorley and running back Saquon Barkley, seems to be improving each week.

In last week’s win over Purdue the group racked up over 500 total yards.

Despite the gaudy numbers, Head Coach James Franklin says there is still a lot of room for improvement.

“We need to be a four-quarter team.  Each possession, each rep, we need to do a better job of that.  And too many penalties.  We’re just giving yards away,” Franklin said.

The Hawkeyes are 5-3 and coming off a bye week.

They have struggled a bit offensively this season, but field one of the best defenses in the Big Ten.

Penn State is at 6-2 on the season and they are favored by a touchdown.

Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30pm.
