Empowering Educators
What
Apply for a $1,000 grant to bring science, technology, engineering, and math to life in your K-12 classroom through the PPL Empowering Educators grant program.
Five teams will be selected as award recipients. Teacher-led student teams will enter design ideas for STEM-related educational projects, such as energy conservation projects, renewable energy demonstrations, and math competitions. Entries will be judged on: project proposal, school need, and potential overall impact. The educational teams and a representative from PPL will each select five winning ideas. In early December, these five educators will be awarded $1,000 each to be used to bring the projects to fruition.
Each team is required to prepare a 2-3 minute presentation reflecting on their experience and the impact the project had on the community. Video presentations are encouraged.
