What to look for on Smart Talk Wednesday, July 6, 2016:
One of the most popular Smart Talks of the last year was broadcast last January when David Cordier, President and CEO of Cordier Auctions and Appraisals, appeared on the program to discuss antiques, collecting, and the value of antiques.
We described the show as an “Antiques Roadshow” on radio and it got much the same response as the TV program.
Mr. Cordier answered general questions about antiques and collecting but then also responded to listeners’ questions about their specific items. At least one had a value of $6,000. Many were heirlooms or items stashed in the attic for years.
The January program on antiques will be broadcast Wednesday. It’s a good time to catch up and learn more about some pieces you or your family may have.
