(Harrisburg) — Ramps at the Eisenhower Interchange in Dauphin County will be closed at times over the next few weekends for repair work.

The ramp from northbound I-283 to northbound I-83 is first up.

It will be closed starting at nine Friday night, with reopening scheduled for early Monday morning at the latest.

The repair work is part of a more than $5.5 million project to preserve bridges throughout the Capitol Beltway.

Other ramps will be closed in the coming weekends.

No closures are planned for the 4th of July holiday period.

Work is expected to be completed by the end of the summer.
