Bishop Gainer Discharged

(Harrisburg) — The Roman Catholic Bishop of Harrisburg has been discharged from the hospital.
Bishop Ronald Gainer was admitted April 22.
The diocese released a statement Friday saying Bishop Gainer’s physical condition is much improved and a complete recovery from a digestive disorder is expected.
The diocese says he will be taking a period of time for some rest and recuperation before returning to his normal schedule.
Bishop Gainer was appointed by Pope Francis in January, 2014.
