Sanders draws a crowd at Penn State

(State College) — Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders campaigned at Penn State University Park’s campus last night to garner support for next week’s primary.
Sanders addressed a crowd of over 6,500 people in Penn State’s Rec Hall.
The Vermont U.S. senator talked about the New York primary and criticized the state’s voting laws barring registered independents from voting in primaries.
He also looked ahead to next Tuesday’s primary in Pennsylvania.
“Let us have the highest voter turnout in Pennsylvania history,” he told the crowd. “And let Pennsylvania go forward and tell the world, you are going to lead this country into a political revolution.”
Sanders finished second to Hillary Clinton in New York’s primary and according to polls, trails her in the commonwealth.
Clinton is slated to campaign in Philadelphia today.
