(Undated) — PennDOT is starting work this week on a stretch of roadway through two midstate counties.

Nearly 15 miles of roadway through Juniata and Mifflin Counties are part of an improvement project, starting this week.

Route 35 in Juniata County from Nook Village to Reeds Gap will have daytime alternating traffic patterns.

Route 2023 will be worked upon from the Route 235 intersection to the Snyder County line and Route 1005, known as Tea Creek Road in Mifflin County, will be affected from the Route 655 intersection toward Milroy.

PennDOT reminds drivers to be cautious in work zone, and to obey the posted speed limits.

The agency says they should also expect delays in those areas.

The $2.9 million project is expected to end by mid-September.
