(Harrisburg) — The state is using Veterans Day to call for donations to the Pennsylvania Veterans’ Memorial.

The 107-foot high memorial at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery in Lebanon County is dedicated to those who have served in wars.

The state Department of Military and Veterans Affairs maintains the structure, which cost six point two million dollars to build in 2001.

The memorial is in need of some repairs after being exposed to the elements for 14-plus years.
