Lewisberry, Pennsylvania’s Jaden Henline is mobbed by teammates and coaches after hitting a walk-off two-run double in the sixth inning of a baseball game in United States pool play against Taylors, South Carolina at the Little League World Series tournament in South Williamsport, Sunday, Aug. 23, 2015.
(Williamsport) — Red Land Little League won in walk-off fashion Sunday to advance to the semifinals of the United States bracket of the Little League World Series.
The 9-8 win over Taylors, S.C preserves the team’s undefeated record this summer.
Red Land held a 6-0 lead after two innings but Taylors battled back, taking an 8-6 advantage in the top of the sixth inning — the final stanza of the contest.
Red Land had last at-bats, however, and rallied for three runs in the final frame to walk off with the victory. With the bases loaded and nobody out, Jaden Henline delivered a game-winning three-run double.
