What to look for on Smart Talk Wednesday, June 3, 2015:

Former Harrisburg Mayor Steven Reed is reportedly under grand jury investigation for his role in the city’s financial collapse, failed plans for museums, and a botched incinerator retrofit.

And on Tuesday, law enforcement personnel raided his home, carrying out boxes of Wild West artifacts.

Could the state be nearing the end of its reported investigation into Reed, or does this open up yet another chapter?

ABC27’s Dave Marcheskie appears on the program to discuss.

We live in a mobile society and how and when we eat our meals is no exception.

So, it’s no surprise that mobile food vendors or food trucks have become quite popular.  So much so that established brick and mortar restaurants are concerned about the competition and whether food trucks may have an advantage, just because they are mobile.

Mobile food vendors have become a real controversy in the city of York.

Previously, York City Council voted to allow up to 30 food trucks to operate on city streets between 7 a.m. and 2 a.m.

But now the council is considering restrictions.

Wednesday’s Smart Talk addresses the issue with Philip Given, co-owner of York City Pretzel Company and Mark Walters, a reporter with the York Daily Record/Sunday News.
