(Harrisburg) — Memorial Day weekend often means celebrating, but drunk driving checkpoints will be set up throughout Cumberland and York counties.
PennDOT, state police and other law enforcement will work together on the checkpoints starting at nine tonight and running through two in the morning.
Roving patrols are also planned to enforce seat belt laws.
Six municipal departments are working with PennDOT on the initiative, including York City, Carlisle Borough, and West Shore Regional.
