(Chambersburg) — The state is approving Wilson College’s switch to a fully co-ed school.

The decision comes after alumnae challenged the Chambersburg school’s decision to admit male, undergraduate residential students.

The state Department of Education says Wilson should have waited for approval before moving forward with its plan. but it also says The college filed its application for changes far ahead of when it admitted male undergraduate residential students.
